All About Latina Aeterna
What about Aeterna Latina? Keep reading to find out.
Who am I?

My name is James Milliken. I’ve been teaching Latin (and English, Mythology, and occasionally Greek and Theology) for almost forty years. Not only have I worked in public schools, but also in independent Catholic schools. Addintionally, I’ve taught remote students all over the world through an online Classical Academy. I have also met face-to-face with learners outside of the institutional school setting.
Why a website?
This is an opportunity for me to share the things I’ve learned myself as a teacher of the Classics over the past four decades. I discuss issues related to teaching, Classical literature in general, textbooks, etc. in my blog. I also have pages of free resources devoted to particular issues (Textbook Reviews, Latin Pronunciation, Publications, even a Just for Fun page featuring music videos I’ve created).
Learning Resources in the Shop

I also have some things for sale in the Aeterna Latina shop. Over the years I’ve accumulated a lot of learning resources which I’m offering for sale (at what I hope are reasonable prices). There are some used books (with more to come). I also have Downloadable PDFs of exercises I have developed over the years. I have them available here for a little less than I’m offering them at a leading teachers’ exchange platform.
Classical Swag in the Shop
In addition to the serious stuff, the shop also offers fun items that I designed to celebrate the world of classics. There are classics-themed coffee mugs, clothes, and accessories such as phone cases.
